But sometimes, life has a way of reminding us that weā€™re all human and that even those of us with the best intentions can fall short.

A few weeks ago, I got my epigenetic test results back from TruDiagnostic. And letā€™s just say, it wasnā€™t exactly the news I wanted to hear. While my chronological age is 42.78, my biological age turned out to be 46.3. šŸ˜¬ Yes, my body has aged faster than expected. Years of chronic stress, overworking, and neglecting sleep have left their mark.

But hereā€™s the twist: despite this less-than-ideal news, thereā€™s a silver lining. My pace of aging is now 0.88. That means for every year that passes, my body only ages 0.88 years. Itā€™s a huge improvement, and it didnā€™t happen by chance.

The Turning Point: 1.5 Years Ago

About a year and a half ago, I realized I was doing everything wrong. I was pushing myself to the limit, constantly stressed, barely sleeping, and not paying attention to what my body needed. It hasnā€™t been easy, and it certainly hasnā€™t been perfect, but the results are there: Iā€™m aging slower, and thatā€™s all the motivation I need to keep going.

Two Lessons Learned

This experience has taught me two powerful lessons that I want to share with you:

We often think, ā€œIf I feel good, I must be good.ā€ But thatā€™s a dangerous mindset. By the time you feel the effects of poor health, the damage is already done. The changes I made werenā€™t drastic overnight transformations. They were small, consistent stepsā€”daily habits that started to add up. And now, my pace of aging is slowing down. Itā€™s proof that this journey isnā€™t about quick fixes; itā€™s about commitment and perseverance. No matter where youā€™re starting from, every positive change counts.
